1. Data Collection
By creating an account on TerraConnect, you consent to the collection and storage of your registered data. This includes your account details, environmental telemetry from your IoT sensors (temperature, humidity, CO2, etc.), animal biological data (weight, feeding, shedding), veterinary records, and geolocation data.
2. Third-Party Artificial Intelligence Processing
To provide you with the "AI Insights" feature, you explicitly consent to TerraConnect transmitting your environmental and biological data to third-party Artificial Intelligence providers (specifically, Google Gemini API).
While in our development/free tiers, the AI provider may temporarily log prompts and generated responses to improve their machine-learning models. Please do not upload highly sensitive human personal information (such as personal medical records or government IDs) to the platform.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is securely routed and stored using Google Cloud infrastructure (Google Sheets / Google Apps Script). We do not sell your personal data or animal telemetry to advertisers or data brokers.
4. Right to Revoke & Delete
You maintain full ownership of your data. You have the right to revoke this consent at any time by deleting your account. Upon account deletion, your historical telemetry, biological records, and configurations will be permanently erased from our active databases.
5. Legal Compliance & IBAMA Disclaimer
TerraConnect is strictly an internal monitoring and administrative tool. We do not verify, validate, or authenticate official IBAMA, CITES, or SISPASS/SISFAUNA licenses and registration numbers provided by users. The platform waives all liability for any false, inaccurate, or counterfeit user entries.
Under the Brazilian Environmental Crimes Law (Lei nº 9.605/1998), breeding, keeping, or trading native or exotic wild fauna without valid official authorization is a criminal offense. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their animals are legally obtained. TerraConnect cannot be used as proof of legal origin.
